Tooty Fruity Popcorn

10 cups popcorn, popped
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 (3-ounce) package fruit flavored gelatin of choice
1 tablespoon corn syrup
3 tablespoons water

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Grease a 1/4 sheet or jelly roll pan. Butter a large saucepan. Distribute popped popcorn evenly in prepared baking pan and set aside. In greased saucepan, over medium heat, combine 1/2 cup butter and remaining ingredients. Heat until it boils and continue to boil for 4 minutes. Pour mixture evenly over popcorn and toss until well coated. Place popcorn in oven and bake 5 minutes; stir, then bake another 5 minutes. Remove popcorn and spread onto aluminum foil. Let cool and break into pieces.
