How to remove pickle juice stain?

Enjoyed your column in the Times. I got some Berber carpet a few months ago. A jar of home made pickles got broken on it & I can’t get the stain out. I have tried Resolve & dish soap. The pickles were made from cucumbers, green peppers, onions, white vinegar, sugar & celery seeds. They didn’t contain any oil. I am at my wits end. Can you help please?
