Q&ACategory: Food and RecipesWhat is the best way to store potatoes and onions?
Chris asked 8 years ago

I am leaving them on the counter now. There must be a better way. I don’t have available cabinet space or a pantry.

I purchase in fairly large quantities, wrap each onion individually in newspaper or paper towels so they do not touch each other, place them in the refrigerator and they keep for months. You also cry less as you cut them because they’re cold and the fumes are less capable of going to atmosphere.
