It takes Real Mayonnaise to make a VINTAGE POTATO SALAD RECIPE every bit as rich and tasty as the old days-yet QUICK as 1-2-3-with REAL “whole-egg” mayonnaise!


 Vintage Potato Salad

Step 1

It’s really good! Cook 8 medium-size potatoes in boiling water until tender. Peel, slice or dice while hot. Add small onion, chopped, 2 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper, dash chervil (optional)

Step 2

Combine 2 tbs. vinegar, 2 tbs. hot water, 1/3 cup Hellmann’s or Best Foods real “whole-egg” mayonniase. Combine with warm potatoes. Let cool.

Step 3

Mix in 1/2 cup chopped green pepper, 1/4 cup chopped pimento, 1/2 cup diced celery, 1/2 cup smoother, richer real “whole-egg” mayonniase. Chill. Serves 6…deliciously.
