How to make a company Hamburger Roll

Here’s an easy way to feed six people on a pound and a half of hamburger. Mix beef and favorite spices, bread crumbs, egg and milk on a lightly floured piece of waxed-through Cut-Rite. Flour keeps meat from sticking, helps give roll a crust.

To save washing rolling pin, place a sheet of extra-heavy Cut-Rite on top of meat and roll into a flat rectangle. Now mix up 1/2 cup finely chopped celery, 1 tablespoon grated onion and 2 1/2 cups diced cooked or canned carrots for your stuffing.

Remove top layer of wax paper and spread vegetables over beef. Roll up like a jelly roll, using extra-heavy waxed-through Cut-Rite to help in the rolling. Place in loaf pan, cover with tomato sauce and bake in moderate oven (350 degrees F.)
