I felt a bit bad that I didn’t have any money on me. Not even loose change. The kids wanted to donate some money and I had to tell them we would next time we hit the trail. Coming from mom, that sounds a lot like a nice way of saying that we’re never going to donate. But we will.

If you’re bored, you can read a bit about the trail here: http://www.lmb.org/pmrt/ We plan to take the kids to different sections, so they can see things from a new perspective. For example, the nature center is different on the bike trail than on the nature trails. There aren’t a ton of attractions directly off the bike trail, but there are a few highlights we can visit that are close enough to the trail that we can just pack up the bikes and walk.

I didn’t get a photo of it, but behind the donation section (on the opposite side of the building in the photo) is a nice sitting area with benches, tables and a water fountain (drinking not decor). The trail has bathrooms, too.
