These were a series of Public service announcements that were on TV on Saturday mornings. Saturday mornings were all about watching cartoons. It was THE day to watch cartoons. The majority of cartoons aired between 8am-noon. My mom didn’t believe in kids sleeping in and I could be found watching cartoons on many Saturday mornings.
I heard Time for Timer enough that I can still recite them all.
“Look a wagon wheel!” hahaha.
Sadly, with Gabe being from Canada, if I said I hanker for a hunk of cheese, he would not get it.
The character even showed in an episode of Family Guy and on Robot Chicken.
